Josh Patterson

Josh Patterson serves as General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at CG Oncology and has more than 20 years of experience serving as in-house counsel in the biopharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining CG Oncology, Josh served as General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at Gamida Cell Ltd. where he was responsible for providing strategic legal advice and counsel to the board of directors and the executive leadership team, as well as management of the global legal and compliance functions. Prior to Gamida Cell, Josh served as General Counsel of Akcea Therapeutics, Inc. where he was responsible for Akcea’s global legal matters and strategic transactions. Prior to joining Akcea, Josh was Deputy General Counsel at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where he specialized in licensing and other strategic transactions. He also previously served as in-house counsel at Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where he was responsible for general corporate transactions, clinical trials and privacy matters. Josh received his B.S. in history from Carthage College and his J.D. from the Syracuse University College of Law.
